CONSTITUTION OF THE C4FA
- Purpose
The purpose of C4FA is to fight for Australian independence by supporting causes aligned with our program, facilitating political education, organising support to allied organisations, and campaigning for issues that support our program.
- Leadership
C4FA is led by a committee. Members of the committee have equal authority and can vote to remove or add a member through majority vote, if a strong enough justification is provided. The duties of committee members are to respond to enquiries, run social media accounts associated with C4FA, organise activities and facilitate a good environment.
- Membership
Membership includes those invited by the committee. Members are to be included in the internal communication platforms and are expected to follow the code of conduct and maintain some level of activity. Members are also allowed to organise activates, provided they it is in line with the C4FA program. Members may be removed at any moment by majority vote from the committee. This must be announced to the membership base and be supported by a justification. If members believe an expulsion is unjustified, they may challenge it through a majority vote, which may result in the expulsion being overridden.
Non-member supporters who are active in online communities hosted by the organisation can be involved in activities, however they cannot vote unless they become a full member.
- Finances
All members are expected to finance their own activates by themselves, or with voluntary donations from other members.
CODE OF CONDUCT
- Members are encouraged to be active in their local communities, organise activities and show initiative wherever possible.
- Members must put on a good impression when representing the organisation. Members are expected to maintain a high standard of personal hygiene and are to dress appropriately.
- Petty drama and/or personal grievances between members are prohibited. Such issues are to be discussed outside of the organisation.
- There is zero tolerance for sexual harassment in this organisation. Any instance of sexual harassment should be reported to the committee as soon as possible. Members are not dissuaded from seeking outside help if they need to.
- Be polite when engaging in discussion with those they disagree with. Members must avoid responding to aggressive provocations wherever possible.
- Members are to maintain basic respect for one another. People outside the organisation should also be treated with the same level common decency that is given to members
- Members must not under any circumstance discuss, plan or carry out any illegal activities. This includes making jokes or threats that could be misinterpreted as such. Adventurist activities, even if legal are strictly prohibited, this achieves nothing and will only reflect poorly on the organisation.
